Our solutions · Earned Wage Access

Access Eligible Earned Wages Before Payday.

Earned Wage Access (EWA) lets eligible employees of participating employers access part of the wages they have already earned in the current pay cycle, through the SalaryFlow app.

What is EWA?

Money you've already earned, a little earlier.

You earn wages every working day, but salary is paid once a month. EWA lets you access an eligible portion of what you have already earned in the current pay cycle, before payday.

The amount you access, plus any applicable charges, is settled from your salary on payday through your employer's payroll. Requests are approved and funded by Dhvija Finance Limited.

EWA is available only if your employer participates in SalaryFlow, and is subject to your eligibility and the EWA terms.

How to access it

Four steps in the app.

  1. Step 1

    Download and register

Get the SalaryFlow app and register as an employee of a participating employer.

  2. Step 2

    Complete verification

Give consent for your employment details to be verified and add your bank account.

  3. Step 3

    See your available amount

The app shows how much you can access, the charges and the settlement date.

  4. Step 4

    Request and track

Choose an amount, confirm, and track the request until it is credited.

An illustrative example

How the available amount is worked out.

Your earned wages grow through the pay cycle as you work. The amount you can access is a portion of those earned wages, set by your employer's programme, minus anything you have already accessed in the same cycle.

This example uses made-up numbers to show the idea. It is not an offer, and it does not show actual limits or charges. Your figures are shown in the app.

Payroll-linked settlement

How EWA is settled, in simple terms.

You don't make a separate repayment. When you request EWA, you authorise the amount due to be settled from your salary. On payday, it is deducted through your employer's payroll and you receive the rest of your salary as usual.

  1. During the month1/5

    Employee requests

The employee reviews charges and terms in the app, gives the repayment authorisation and submits a request.

  2. On approval2/5

    Funds credited

If approved, Dhvija Finance Limited credits the amount to the employee's registered bank account.

  3. Before payday3/5

    Settlement summary

The employer receives a summary of amounts due for the pay cycle.

  4. Payday4/5

    Payroll settlement

The amount due is settled through payroll, as set out in the employee's authorisation and the employer agreement.

  5. After payday5/5

    Reconciliation

Settled amounts are matched and the employee can see the repayment in the app.

The exact settlement arrangement is set out in each employer agreement and in the product terms the employee accepts.

What if my withdrawal fails?
If a withdrawal does not reach your bank account, the app shows it as failed. Contact Employee Support with the request reference so we can check it.
Can charges be refunded?
Refunds, where applicable, are handled as set out in our Refund & Cancellation policy. Contact Employee Support if you believe you were charged in error.
